Aaron Phypers, Denise Richards’ husband, is facing serious legal allegations. A lawsuit alleges fraud and breach of oral contract connected to his Malibu wellness center.
Details of the Lawsuit
The suit, filed Nov. 13, 2024, by Rupert Perry, involves treatments given to Perry’s deceased wife, Elina Katsioula-Beall. Katsioula-Beall was diagnosed with sarcoma in 2019 and explored alternative treatments; she heard of a stem cell therapy offered at Phypers’ facility. Phypers purportedly represented that this treatment was 98 percent effective and offered a 50 percent refund if it did not work.
Treatment and Aftermath
Katsioula-Beall paid $126,000 between July and September 2023 for stem cell procedures. By December, her tumors were said to have grown by 25 percent. Phypers stored the data and did not refund despite more than one request. Katsioula-Beall died in May 2024. Perry is seeking a refund and additional damages, claiming Phypers acted willfully.
About Aaron Phypers and His Wellness Center
Aaron Phypers runs a holistic healing center in Malibu and practices “frequency medicine.” He caught the public eye for his appearances on “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” with his ex Denise Richards. In an episode aired in 2020, Phypers explained his work as breaking up “blocks” and “discord” to facilitate healing, but he faced skepticism about his explanations.
Current Status
It is unclear if Phypers’ wellness center is still open, and he has yet to respond to the lawsuit. The case raised questions about the effectiveness and ethics of alternative medical treatments available at such facilities.
Aaron Phypers knows best why alternative medical treatments are fraught with the potential for abuse. Patients should proceed cautiously while thoroughly researching nontraditional treatments to ensure informed decisions.
