Career
Ana began her journalism career as an anchor and reporter in Lubbock, Texas. She worked for three years as a morning and midday anchor in Medford, Oregon, and in June 2023, she became a morning anchor at KOLD-TV in Tucson, Arizona.
Personal Life
Ana was a colorful and empathetic person. She loved rescue animals and frequently advocated for their adoption. Colleagues recalled Ms. Edwards as a mentor who guided journalists new to the newsroom.
The news of her untimely death left co-workers and viewers heartbroken. Her co-anchor struggled to hold back tears on live television as he broke the news.
